The starting points are the photographs that I take, images of people and places. I photograph them aiming to capture their spirit, their beat, their struggle, the reality and uniqueness of their lives and their environment.

The photographs are then printed on canvas and by utilizing many layers of paint, textiles and papers I weaved many symbols the realities that are not pleasant to accept, or transcribing facts that otherwise disappeared.

My impossible aim is to reveal in one canvas the uniqueness of each city, the gorgeous originality of these imperfect creations of man.
