These body of work are recreations or embodiments of anonymous figures that I endow with human qualities.

My painted living statues are an updated version of the Tableaux Vivant which was common in Medieval and Renaissance festivities and pageantry. Representing everyday ocurrances.

Just as in real live where people who present a showy facade when in public, hiding their true inner selves, like many of us do in public spaces or at a party.
